Galileo's Jupiter Moon observation & its telescope details used for observing Jupiter's moon


 Draft of a letter to Leonardo Donato, Doge of Venice, August, 1609, and Notes on the Moons of Jupiter, January 1610.

The above image should should be keep in mind the way Galileo saw the Jupiter and its moon, as the moon appeared as tiny spot.

In March 1610, Galileo published his discoveries of Jupiter’s satellites and other celestial observations in a book titled Siderius Nuncius (The Starry Messenger)

Galileo used a crude refracting telescope(with  20x magnification ) for his observations for Sidereus nuncius. It had a convex objective lens and a concave eyepiece in a long tube.

Observação da lua de Júpiter de Galileu e detalhes do telescópio usados ​​para observar a lua de Júpiter


Rascunho de uma carta a Leonardo Donato, Doge de Veneza, agosto de 1609, e Notas sobre as Luas de Júpiter, janeiro de 1610.

 A imagem acima deve ser mantida em mente a maneira como Galileu viu Júpiter e sua lua, já que a lua apareceu como um pequeno ponto.

 Em março de 1610, Galileu publicou suas descobertas dos satélites de Júpiter e outras observações celestes em um livro intitulado Siderius Nuncius (The Starry Messenger).

 Galileu usou um telescópio refrator bruto (com aumento de 20x) para suas observações para Sidereus nuncius.  Ele tinha uma lente objetiva convexa e uma ocular côncava em um longo tubo.

   In Astronomy, sometimes the images send by satellite/telescope could be Blur and one would be interested to make the image Sharpe. The Kernel (it is matrix representation) is to process the image -from Blur image to Sharpe Image.
